I had the opportunity to volunteer at Simabo organizing workshops in several schools in São Vicente. It is really great that Simabo proposes this type of activities, because it's very important to make children aware of animal protection.

Educate people and change for the better the mindset of a community is not easy…and for sure not free!
We invest tons of energy, resources and finally money to educate the next generation of Cape Verdean people.
The only way to really help the animals in the long term, is to grow and evolve all together as a community and not just by solving emergencies.
How we invest your donations
An average of 500€ per month are required to fund our education program.
Funds are used for:
- workshop supplies: photocopies, pens and pencils, scissors, ...
- transportation to/from events and workshops
- equipment purchase: new projector for presentations, printer, ...
- Outreach Officer salary
