Her Story
Hi, I’m Branquinha and it means  “white little Girl” in Portuguese and they say, I’m a little sunshine and I could sweep someone off their feet. I have been rescued that I was full of mange, so it took time to recover, but now I’m good again.
At the Shelter I am always happy to meet new volunteers, who take me for a walk. I’ll welcome them warmly with a big smile and hug, because I’m grateful and happy that they, as well as the whole Simabo team, take care of me. I love playing with my friends and I am good at ignoring when others are arguing, because I’m a happy soul. If it happens, I prefer to ignore it and wait for someone to take me for a walk.
Now unfortunately our shelter is closing and I’m looking for a home. It would be very important to me, that I’m adopted in a place where the sun is not so hot and burning as in Cape Verde, because my delicate skin suffers from too much sun and can develop tumors.
Will you be my next forever home and take care of me lovingly and go for a walk with me?
