Hi, my name is Jon!
I used to live on the street, like hundreds of other dogs in Mindelo. During a certain period of my life I was sick and I was treated at SIMABO’s shelter. Once recovered, I was placed back in my “home”. But I felt that was not my home anymore, so I spent days looking for SIMABO volunteers until I found their home. I stayed in front of their house, waited for SIMABO’s car to show up and got into the car with them to go back to the shelter. And everyone understood: SIMABO’s shelter is the place where I truly feel like home.
